Independence Square(Merdeka Square) where Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Royal Selangor Club and St. Mary's Cathedral makes up the square. Visit Jadi Batek Gallery (Batik Handicraft centre) to see how a blank piece of cloth is transformed into a masterpiece through the `chanting` process in the hands of a master. Batik is a traditional and official garment of Malaysia. You will also explore the Cocoa Boutique (Chocolate Boutique) where Malaysian chocolate is high quality and comes in many varieties.
